Natalie and I spent a week at Mount Magazine, the highest point here in Arkansas. I had plenty of opportunities to take pictures, here they are! As always, click to view them larger. Old Lodge Trail Wildlife on Mount Magazine We frequently saw a variety of animals while driving, and on the trails. There was [...]

The other night I the stars were exceptionally bright, so I decided to see if I could pull of a decent time-lapse picture of them from my balcony. I started at 9:18 pm and took 30 second exposures for an hour. Unfortunately I have misplaced my remote shutter release, so I had to manually set [...]

This morning on my way in to Little Rock, I saw some strange but beautiful wavy cloud formations. The pictures don’t really do them justice, but I thought they looked neat anyway. I’ve always wanted an excuse to take pictures of that particular field, so I’m glad I finally got the chance!

Today I had the opportunity to take some pictures at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This picture was taken from the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, looking toward the Arkansas State Capitol Building. The windows and the high vantage point really highlight the beautiful fall colors in Little Rock.

I talked Natalie into coming with me at 10 p.m. to take this picture, something I’ve wanted to do all year. It was exciting, and I’m pretty satisfied with the way it turned out. The overpass, while sturdy, did show some movement when a large vehicle drove across, so there is some shake in the [...]
