Asclepias Variegata, or redring milkweed, has a beautiful complex bloom. The small white petals appear smooth, almost creamy, as if they were molded from clay.

I saw this dandelion today, glowing in the late afternoon sun. With such good lighting, and having my camera, I couldn’t help but stop to snap a picture. I think it looks like a firework in the sky.
